The Golden Hop - Logo Design

The Golden Hop is a new brewery and restaurant concept, that promises a unique experience, featuring a signature line of beers brewed on-site and a full menu of classic pub fare and appetisers.

My journey with this project began with sketching various logo concepts. Central to the design is the hop, a nod to the brewery’s name. The client envisioned a traditional aesthetic, reminiscent of an old local pub in the UK, complete with rich dark woods, bricks, hand carved crests, and ornamental details. This contrasts with the contemporary and industrial trends popular among many new breweries.

My goal was to create a warm, inviting atmosphere with cozy nooks for gatherings, rather than a large, impersonal space. Drawing inspiration from traditional UK pubs, I incorporated gold elements into the logo, reflecting the name and adding a touch of elegance. The result is a logo that captures the timeless charm and welcoming spirit of The Golden Hop.
